Real Estate Myths

If you look at what agents/companies do for you, you begin to realize that all agents do basically the same thing with few exceptions. This myth was started and carries on to this day because the “big” box companies don’t want to loose market share and if they can keep you in the dark they stand to make more money and after all, isn’t that what this is all about. The “big” box companies wanting to make more money by charging you higher commissions (for absolutely no reason) and only because they have always done it that way. Due to the internet, consumers are now armed with as much information as the agents for the most part. So, I ask you, what are you paying the higher commission for? Because an agent told you that they do more or, and I love this one, “well, they are discounters and well they know their worth”. Please forgive me but this is just “hogwash”! Nothing could be farther from the truth. Due to how we market homes and attract buyers our market time is usually less than anyone else’s, the experience level is equal to or greater than that of other companies and we don’t cut corners despite what the other companies want to tell you. The only way to really find out is comparison of services. Not all agents are created equal and the truth is, there are many agents who should not be in the business but by in large we are a good group of business people and most of us strive to exceed your expectations and deliver excellent service.
